Description
The Lead Paramedic instructor will be the lead instructor for advanced level EMS courses such as Paramedic and AEMT. Additional responsibilities include teaching other EMS courses; developing course syllabi and instructional materials; maintaining instructional records; recruiting, advising and retaining students, and clinical precepting.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in EMS or related field
- Level I NCOEMS Instructor certification (or eligibility)
- Knowledge of NCOEMS and CoAEMSP requirements and processes
- NC Paramedic certification
- At least 3 years field experience as a Paramedic
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience
